Ride for Renewables

On Sunday, September 13, 2015, join us on the Ride for Renewables! It's a fun, free, and family-friendly event to promote a future where Ontario is powered by green energy.

Communities around the world are reaping the many benefits of a renewable energy economy. Progress in Ontario is being held back by our leaders' illogical commitment to nuclear power.

Nuclear power is risky and expensive. Every kilowatt hour of power it generates is a kilowatt hour of power that isn't generated by the renewable energy sector.

We're going to show support for a renewable energy future by riding from Ontario's oldest multi-reactor nuclear power plant (Pickering) to our newest (Darlington). We'll learn about the risks of nuclear power and the potential for a renewable future.

By clinging to this dying industry, our politicians are holding back the power source of the future. Let's send them a clear message: Don't Nuke Green Energy!
